Wallace Cheves has a long history as a businessman and entrepreneur in the Upstate. A graduate of Wofford College, Cheves first discovered an interest in property development during a senior year internship with a real estate developer. His career has included a stint with The Marchant Company and as an advocate to change the laws related to gambling in North and South Carolina. He helped to secure approval for the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians to open Two Kings Casino in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, in 2021. Cheves is co-owner of the Greenville Triumph and Greenville Liberty pro soccer teams.
