Cal Hurst

With 20 years of banking experience throughout South Carolina, Cal Hurst has served as president of Southern First Bank since 2022. Hurst has served as chair of the Greenville Chamber Board, serves on the board and volunteers with United Way, and is a past chairman of United Way’s Greenville County Campaign. He also serves at First Presbyterian Church and Furman University. Hurst is the proud son of public educators, brother of two fine men, father of two extraordinary children, and husband to the most wonderful woman he has ever met. He believes deeply in the power of relationships, trustworthiness, and hard work; three things for which he says there are no substitutes or shortcuts.
