Thomas R. "Tom" Britt Jr.

Thomas R. “Tom” Britt Jr. has been president of the Bank of Travelers Rest since 2015, but he started his career with the bank in 1992. A Greenville native, Britt is a graduate of University of South Carolina-Spartanburg, and has professional training through the RMA Commercial Lending School at East Carolina University, USC Banker’s School, and the Mary Brewer Institute of Insurance. He serves on the Greenville Technical College Area Commission. Britt’s other community service includes stints on the Cherrydale Area Council, the Appalachian Development Corporation, and as former chair of March of Dimes Walk-Spartanburg.
