Michelle Seaver

Michelle Seaver serves as president of United Community in Greenville, Spartanburg and Cherokee counties. In this position, she directs the bank’s strategic growth in these markets. Seaver is credited with spearheading United’s entrance into South Carolina as she was responsible for opening its first South Carolina branch. Years later, she once again led growth efforts for United when it acquired Palmetto Bank by integrating all the branch locations and laying the foundation for the bank in the Upstate. Seaver serves as board chair for Artisphere and is the chair of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the boards of Prisma Health, SC Jobs and Economic Development Authority, Greenville Tech Foundation, and the University of South Carolina Alumni Association. Seaver is a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 24. She was named one of Greenville’s Most Influential in 2024, 2023 and 2013, GSA’s 2020 Women of Influence, Greenville’s Best and Brightest in 2007 and was one of the YMCA Dream Achievers in 2006.
