Mark Cooter

Mark Cooter is a partner at Cherry Bekaert and leads the firm’s Real Estate, Construction & Hospitality Industry Group. Beyond his professional role, Cooter is a driving force in Greenville’s nonprofit and educational initiatives. He has served on boards for the Community Foundation of Greenville, Camperdown Academy, Neighborhood Cancer Connection of Greenville County, March of Dimes Real Estate Awards, Hospice House of Greenville, and Greenville Literacy Association among others, using his financial expertise to strengthen these organizations in various leadership awards. As an officer of the Community Foundation’s board, he helped expand its ability to accept gifts of real estate and business interests through Donor Advised Funds, enabling the foundation to increase contributions from donors and increase grants to local nonprofits.
