Larry Miller

Larry Miller, Ph.D., took office as the third president of Greenville Technical College on July 1, 2025. With over 25 years of experience in academia, Miller is known for innovative thinking, investigative research, and forming strategic partnerships with industry leaders to drive student outcomes. Previously the college’s chief academic officer, Miller has created tangible results at GTC including recognition by Newsweek as No. 1 in South Carolina for online education, a Workforce Development Innovations Award from the Society of Manufacturing Engineering, the only South Carolina college invited to participate in the Aspen Institute’s Unlocking Opportunity network, and inclusion in a Gates-Foundation initiative that improves outcomes for all students.
