Under Heath Dillard’s leadership as president and CEO of VisitGreenvilleSC, Greenville’s visitor economy has reached record levels, generating a $2.5 billion economic impact in 2024 and more than $200 million in state and local tax revenues while supporting thousands of jobs and hundreds of small businesses. In FY25, VisitGreenvilleSC’s sales, marketing, and communications efforts generated $605 million in economic impact in Greenville County and helped propel the destination onto the national stage, with recognition from Condé Nast Traveler’s Best Small Cities list, Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Cities rankings, hosting the inaugural MICHELIN Guide American South ceremony, and serving as a feature destination on “Top Chef” Season 23, airing in 2026.
