Vice President and Trust Officer

Countybank

Greenville

Age 31

As a trust officer at Countybank, I have the privilege of helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most important financial and personal decisions. I work closely with clients, attorneys, financial advisers, and families to administer trusts and estates, preserve legacies, and carry out fiduciary responsibilities with integrity and care. Throughout my career, I have focused on building trusted relationships while helping grow and strengthen the trust services offered within our community. My long-term goal is to continue expanding access to high-quality fiduciary services across Upstate South Carolina. I am passionate about serving others, both professionally and personally. Outside of work, I serve as treasurer of the Thornwell Charter School Board, where I help support educational opportunities for local students and families. Giving back to the community means investing my time, talents, and resources to help others succeed. I am proud to call the Upstate my home, and my greatest joy comes from being a husband and father to my daughter while working to make a positive difference in the lives of those around me.

Favorite Quote and Why: "What you do has far greater impact that what you say."  — Stephen Covey. This quote reflects my belief that actions speak louder than words. Lasting success comes from consistently serving others, leading with integrity, and following through on the commitments we make.

Definition of a Successful Leader: To me, a successful leader is someone who leads with integrity, honesty, and humility. They place the needs of others above their own while continually working to grow both personally and professionally. They encourage and develop those around them, but they also have the courage to address challenges when they arise. Most importantly, they help others see and pursue a shared vision, creating a positive and lasting impact on the people and organizations they serve.

Advice to 18-Year-Old Self: Life will have its fair share of ups and downs, but stay true to yourself, your faith, and your family. Don't be afraid to take chances or step outside your comfort zone. There will be times when you fail, but when you do, get back up, learn from the experience, and keep moving forward. Most importantly, strive each day to become the best version of yourself both personally and professionally. Success isn't defined by avoiding challenges; it's defined by how you respond to them.
