In its 2026 Q1 Greenville-Spartanburg Office Report, Colliers said the quarter’s headlining deal was Novant Health’s purchase and partial lease-back of TD Bank’s LEED-certified suburban campus along Interstate 85 in Greenville County.
Colliers said Novant Health’s purchase-leaseback of TD Bank’s ±295,000-square-foot campus marks the market’s continued evolution amidst robust health care demand growth.
In a statement, TD Bank U.S. said, "TD has completed the sale of our Greenville Campus to Novant Health. As part of this agreement, TD is leasing back one of the buildings. This transaction allows TD to continue supporting a strong presence in Greenville with over 2,000 colleagues remaining while also welcoming Novant’s commitment to the area. "
It added, "This decision was made following a comprehensive strategic analysis of our real estate needs in light of evolving hybrid and remote work models. We remain proud to employ a significant number of professionals in Greenville, regardless of whether their roles are performed on-site, in a hybrid setup, or remotely."
Ryan Lee, president of Novant Health’s Greenville area, said in a statement: “Novant Health continually analyzes and seeks opportunities to ensure we can meet the future health care needs of the communities we serve, including purchasing property from TD Bank at 200 Carolina Point Pkwy. in Greenville. We’re incredibly grateful for the warm welcome to Greenville we’ve received over the past year, and we look forward to sharing more about Novant Health’s future growth and long-term commitment to serve the Upstate community with remarkable health care closer to home. "
Lee added that as part of the purchase agreement, Novant Health has entered into a Voluntary Clean Up Contract with the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services to conduct an environmental assessment of the property and ensure that all future development meets required health and safety standards.
"At this time, we do not have additional plans to share, but we will update the community as details develop,” Lee said.
