Greenville Women Giving (GWG), a philanthropic women’s collective giving organization serving Greenville County, marks 20 years of impact while announcing details for the 2026 grant cycle.
“Since 2006, GWG has awarded over $9 million to local nonprofits, and this milestone year continues that legacy with another cycle of impactful grants,” says Connie Lanzl, Co-Chair of GWG.
GWG awards grants ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 to Greenville County nonprofits in the areas of arts, education, environment, health, and human services. The 2026 application portal will open on January 2, 2026, and all applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on January 23, 2026. Grant recipients will be announced at the GWG Annual Meeting on May 19, 2026.
To help applicants prepare, GWG will offer two information sessions:
A pre-recorded webinar available on the GWG website beginning Oct. 29, 2025
A live online Q&A session on Nov. 5, 2025, from 12:00–1:00 p.m. (registration required; details will be posted on the GWG website)
Nonprofits planning to apply are encouraged to submit an optional Application Interest Form by Jan. 10, 2026. The online form does not commit an organization to apply but helps GWG organize its grant review process.
Over the past two decades, Greenville Women Giving has awarded 159 grants to 92 organizations, strengthening the community through collective giving. Today, GWG has nearly 500 members dedicated to advancing high-impact philanthropy across Greenville County.
Nonprofit organizations serving Greenville County in one of GWG’s five focus areas are encouraged to apply. For more information on the 2026 grant cycle, visit greenvillewomengiving.org or follow GWG on Facebook (@GreenvilleWomen).
