Ashley Moore is the CEO of AM-PM Farms and AM-PM Farms Butchery & Market, a vertically integrated, farm-to-table operation she helped grow from a family farm into a thriving multi-location retail business across Upstate South Carolina. Her leadership has brought transparency and trust to local food systems, connecting families with hormone-free, pasture-raised beef raised on their own land. Moore serves on the board of directors for the Younts Center for Performing Arts and regularly donates meat to local soup kitchens through her farm.
To me, leadership is creating clarity, trust, and direction for others. It’s having the courage to make decisions, the consistency to stand by them, and the humility to listen along the way. I believe people do their best when they feel seen, respected, and part of something meaningful. Leadership isn’t about control; it’s about setting the tone and showing up in a way that others can trust.
My greatest strength is staying steady under pressure. I bring a sense of calm and clarity, which allows my team to move forward with confidence. I also genuinely care about people and want to see them grow. What I’m still working on is letting go of the details. As a founder, I’m deeply invested, but I’m learning that trusting others is what allows a business to truly grow.
