AnMed Health is teaming up with City of Anderson Police Department and Anderson County Sheriff’s Office for Prescription Drug Take Back Day. U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will provide safe disposal of your unused or expired medication*, including controlled substances. Shred-A-Way will also be on site to provide secure disposal of unwanted documents.

Pick up locations will be at AnMed Health North Campus, 2000 E. Greenville St., in the front parking lot across from Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market; and Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center, 3027 MLK Jr. Blvd., in the main parking lot.

*Only pills (including controlled substances) accepted. No liquids, insulin, inhalers, needles, etc., will be accepted.
