FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 21, 2018 Contact: Belita Broadus T: 864-269-5411 Greenville to Host South Carolina District Civitan Convention GREENVILLE, SC—On August 24-26, 2018, the South Carolina Civitan District will convene in downtown Greenville for the annual Civitan Convention. Mayor Knox White will open this district-wide gathering of “builders of good citizenship” with a welcome address. Eighteen Civitan Clubs from across the state (two of which are from Greenville County) will be attending the three-day event at the Hyatt Regency Greenville. Belita Broadus of the Greenville Civitan Club serves as Governor of the South Carolina District and the Convention. This year’s convention service project will benefit Project HOPE Foundation of Greenville, which provides a lifespan of services for the autism community.
