The Peace Center Announces Broadway Season

The Peace Center will kick off its 10-show 2025-2026 Broadway season on Sept. 2 with a production of “MJ: The Musical,” exploring the music of pop icon Michael Jackson and the creation of Jackson’s 1992 Dangerous World Tour.

The Peace Center announced its new season at a festive ceremony on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

This year’s season also will feature:

·        “Water for Elephants,” Oct. 21-26, 2025. The bestselling novel by Sara Gruen becomes a musical with an original score.

·        “The Sound of Music,” Nov. 11-16, 2025. The tour marks the 60th anniversary of the Oscar-winning film starring Julie Andrews.

·        “Les Misérables,” Jan. 13-18, 2026. This musical adaptation of the Victor Hugo novel features a set design inspired by Hugo’s artwork.

·        “The Outsiders,” Jan. 27-Feb. 1, 2026. The S.E. Hinton classic is reimagined as a musical in this production that won four Tony Awards.

·        “Hell’s Kitchen,” Feb. 10-15, 2026. This Tony Award-winning production was inspired by the life and music of singer Alicia Keys.

·        “Suffs,” Feb. 24-March 1, 2026. This Tony Award-winning musical explores the lives of the suffragettes who fought to get women the right to vote.

·        “The Great Gatsby,” March 31-April 5, 2026. The musical adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel brings the Roaring Twenties to life.

·        “The Notebook,” June 9-14, 2026. Singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson wrote the music for this adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks love story.

·        “Spamalot,” July 28-Aug. 2, 2026. The Monty Python classic brings its first-ever revival to town to close out the season.
