Clemson University officials were notified Wednesday that test results for an individual being monitored were found to be negative for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The officials also said there are no confirmed cases in Clemson, and no cases are being monitored.
No modifications to operations at any Clemson campus or location around the state are planned and no changes to academic calendar, including spring break, are being made, the officials said.
While students have been informed to prepare for the possibility of class instruction moving online at some point in the semester, no decisions have been made, the officials said.
There are no plans to close the campus, even if instruction is moved online, Clemson officials said.
