Upstate International Foreign language classes are open for registration and provide the opportunity to learn any of the 10 languages offered this summer. This term will include American Sign Language, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, and Thai. Learning a language can enhance travel experiences, add value to a resume, and enrich global understanding. Classes even make great gifts for friends or family. Whether it's to learn a language for work, play, travel, or brain power, Upstate International has a class for everyone.

Classes are conducted in an informal and relaxed atmosphere and are limited to 3-15 people. Every class is taught by a native speaker dedicated to helping each student succeed. Teachers strive to tailor the curriculum for students' needs, leading to a variety of skill-based classes being offered each semester.

Classes meet either once or twice a week, beginning the week of June 10th. Regular classes meet once a week for an hour and cost $65 for the entire eight-week semester ending by August 9th. Intensive classes meet twice a week for 90 minutes each and cost $265 for the 8-week/24 hour semester ending by August 9th. Annual membership is $50 per person or $75 for a family and is required for every student. All classes are held at Upstate International, 9 S. Memminger Street, Greenville.
