FRONTIER Building Completes New Prototype for Panera Bread
FRONTIER Building has completed the construction of a Panera Bread located in Simpsonville. The fast-casual eatery is located in the Fairview Corners II Plaza near Fairview and Harrison Bridge Road.
The new prototype replaces an older Panera outpost formerly located nearby and features a drive-thru – a unique structural detail for the national chain. FRONTIER Building provided the construction of the freestanding Panera, as well as all site work for the 4,411-square-foot ground-up project. Located on 1.24 acres, the restaurant also features a 705-square-foot patio for outdoor dining and 77 parking spaces. Andrew Goggin was the project manager.
“This is the 21st Panera Bread we build for the national brand, but the first one we build in South Carolina,” said Andrew Goggin, director of construction at FRONTIER Building. “We’ve built projects for them across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Virginia, D.C., New York, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota so far, so we’re excited to add South Carolina to that list.”
FRONTIER Building currently has three other Panera Bread locations under construction.
