WYFF 4 announces that Amanda Crawford will join WYFF News 4 Today as co-anchor beginning Monday, August 20, 2018. She joins Geoff Hart on the anchor desk weekday mornings beginning at 4:30 a.m. Meteorologist Dale Gilbert rounds out the top morning team in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Asheville-Anderson market.

“We’re excited to have Amanda join Geoff and Dale in the mornings,” remarked WYFF 4 News Director Bruce Barkley. “Her experience covering big stories will be an important addition to our news room. Keeping viewers informed and prepared for their day with Live, Local, Breaking News, weather, and traffic is our priority every morning.”

"I can’t wait to be a part of this amazing team,” said Amanda Crawford. “Viewers have been waking up to watch Geoff and Dale for years. They have a great energy in the mornings. I look forward to jumping in and being a part of this team and this community.”

The WYFF News 4 Today team also includes Brennan McDavid with traffic and Dana Griffin as a live reporter covering overnight breaking news. Meteorologist Sarah Fortner joins Dale Gilbert at the weather desk for more in-depth coverage of big weather stories.

Crawford comes to WYFF 4 from its sister station WESH in Orlando, Fla. As lead reporter, she covered big stories like the Pulse nightclub massacre and Hurricane Irma. Before that, Crawford was an anchor and reporter at Hearst-owned KETV in Omaha. She is originally from Iowa.
