Dec 05, 2017 03:19PM ● By Kathleen Maris

Founders Kevin Finn, Mark Edelson and Kevin Davies announce that they have signed a lease for the first Southern location of Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant (Iron Hill) at 741 Haywood Road.

Since opening their first brewery and restaurant in Newark, Del. in 1996, Iron Hill has produced high quality, fresh, from-scratch fare and hand-crafted beers.

The 7,500-square-foot space was designed by Boulder-based Bray Architecture and will entail an on-site brewing facility with a seating capacity of 250, including a bar area and outdoor space.

“The Carolinas continue to be a hotbed of activity for the craft beer industry with Greenville as one of the more prominent cities within that fold,” says Finn. “Our team is thrilled to become part of this vibrant community and assist with its growth through new jobs and a new place to enjoy great food, great beer and each other.”

About Iron Hill:

Founded by home brewers Kevin Finn and Mark Edelson and restaurateur Kevin Davies in Newark, Del. in 1996, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant has 13 locations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and South Carolina. Each brewery/restaurant has its own craft kitchen and scratch brewery, as well as its own head brewer. For 21 years, Iron Hill has incorporated beer in everything they do. Finn, Edelson, and Davies started Iron Hill at a time when small breweries were just beginning to gain mass appeal around the country.
