Hamrick Mills expanding manufacturing operations in Cherokee County

Established in 1900, the company produces high-quality woven fabrics for use in home furnishings, industrial applications, and apparel and support apparel markets. Its “Made in the USA” fabric lines are produced entirely at its two production facilities in Cherokee County.
The expanded investment will allow for upgrades of manufacturing equipment at both of its plants in Gaffney. Hamrick Mills employs 430 between its two-plant operation, corporate headquarters, and sales office.
“Hamrick Mills has been a proud part of the Cherokee County community for over 115 years – investing millions of dollars into our county and employing 450 people, most of which are local citizens," says CFO Charles Hamrick. "Our company strongly believes in investing in our community by being a good corporate citizen and also by encouraging civic involvement by our associates. We are very proud of that heritage, and our current expansion efforts show a continued resolve to invest in our community and grow our business for the benefit of everyone involved.”
