Wilson Associates Strengthens Team with Addition of Highly-Tenured Broker, Agents with Residential Construction, Operations Experience

Wilson Associates, one of Greenville’s largest independent and highest-producing real estate firms, recently hired broker and realtor Lindsay Thatcher and realtor Kenny Reid to its real estate team. These award-winning veteran agents bring years of experience and expertise to their new roles.

A realtor and certified broker, Lindsay Thatcher brings uncompromising personal commitment and deep knowledge of all sides of a transaction to all her real estate dealings. Over the course of her nearly 15 years in real estate, she has been a consistent top performer with thorough knowledge of the unique lifestyle and buying/selling advantages of various Upstate communities. She uses that information to find the right fit and the right buyers for each, providing the personalized and personal real estate support to help clients reach their goals. Because her counsel, expertise, clear communication and resourcefulness are so valuable, she has served as a trainer and mentor to other agents. She also has past experience as an operations manager and finance professional, making her very detail-oriented and able to guide clients on the financial side of transactions.

A world-traveler, active PTA mom and neighborhood board member, Thatcher is committed to giving back to her community and to continuous learning. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from USC Upstate and is very active leader in First Presbyterian Greer’s youth ministry and volunteers with Meals on Wheels.

Kenny Reid adds 20 years of construction sales experience and 25 years as a licensed residential builder to his 15 years as an award-winning and top-preforming real estate agent. This particular pedigree makes him uniquely qualified to help clients look beyond cosmetic and superficial details to understand the quality, condition and true, long-term value of a home and price or bid on it accordingly. His keen eye for craftsmanship and skill in detecting possible hidden pitfalls paired with his honest, straightforward communication style and reassuring presence empower his clients to negotiate from positions of strength and to make informed, confident, and smart decisions. A fifth generation Greenvillian, Reid made his mark in lovingly rehabbing homes in some of Greenville’s oldest neighborhoods, including Hampton-Pinckney, Pettigru, North Main, and Alta Vista.

Reid earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from The Citadel. He and his wife, Jane, a retired Greenville County Schools elementary teacher, have lived in the Augusta Circle neighborhood for 40 years. He volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels and is active in the Greenville Citadel Club.
