Countybank announced the addition of Tara Webb to its Trust Department as senior Trust officer and senior vice president, bringing 20 years of experience in trust administration and fiduciary services.

Webb has extensive experience guiding individuals, families, and institutions through complex transitions, with expertise in estate settlement, legacy preservation, and multi‑generational planning.  She is known for delivering thoughtful, compliant trust solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Prior to joining Countybank, Webb served as Head of the Trust Department at Arthur State Bank, where she led a team of trust professionals and oversaw account administration, regulatory compliance, risk management, and service initiatives.

“Reaching 20 years in this industry is incredibly meaningful,” Webb said. “Serving as a fiduciary is a responsibility I take very seriously and leading a department of professionals who share that commitment is one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.”

In her new role at Countybank, Webb will support strategic initiatives and focus on developing and empowering future leaders within the department, while continuing to serve clients with integrity, professionalism, and care.

“We are excited for Tara to join and lead our team of Trust professionals,” said Jamie Hedgepath, executive vice president and General Counsel. “Tara’s extensive experience, connections to the communities we serve, and subject matter expertise will all be tremendous assets to Countybank.”

Webb holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Presbyterian College and has completed Advanced Professional Education from Cannon Financial Institute, including specialized training in Special Needs Trust administration.

She serves as chairman of the Trust Committee for the South Carolina Banker’s Association, Treasurer of Clinton Rotary Club, and Secretary of the Laurens County Community Foundation.

Webb resides in Clinton, SC. She is a mother of two adult children and a grandmother of two, with a third grandchild on the way.
