Team members at North American Rescue (NAR), a South Carolina-based provider of casualty-care and survivability solutions for military and first responders, and a subsidiary of Henry Schein, Inc., recently brought holiday cheer to local underserved communities. Across three festive events in Greenville County, the team supported more than 750 families in need.

The NAR team held holiday celebrations in the Crestwood Forest and Boulder Creek neighborhoods in collaboration with Changing Your Mind Ministries and nonprofit partner Heart of Compassion. Volunteers set up tables with clothing and toys, served donuts and refreshments, and helped create a supportive environment for families.

In partnership with the City of Greenville, Henry Schein, and Mill Village Ministries, NAR team members also contributed to the West Greenville Winter Wonderland at the West Greenville Community Center. Volunteers welcomed families to a lively celebration featuring fun activities and a meal service. In addition, families received donated gifts, including clothing, toys, scooters, and bicycles.

Through Henry Schein Cares, the Company’s global corporate citizenship program, Henry Schein’s Holiday Cheer program helps fulfill the holiday wishes of children, families, and senior citizens in need. Since 1999, the program has helped more than 21,000 individuals enjoy a brighter holiday season.
