John L. Otten

John L. Otten became CEO of Elliott Davis in July 2025 after more than a quarter-century with the company. He has served as the firm’s tax practice leader and industry group leader, among other roles. Otten holds an undergraduate degree from Presbyterian College and a Master’s of Accountancy with tax Specialization from University of Georgia Terry College of Business. His community involvement includes serving on boards and committees for the Children’s Museum of the Upstate, United Way, and Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County.
