Greenville Chamber Welcomes New Director of LaunchGVL

The Greenville Chamber has announced that Alex Fagan has joined the organization as director of LaunchGVL.

LaunchGVL is a partnership between the Greenville Chamber and Greenville County Schools that connects high school students with paid internships. In this role, Fagan will work closely with employers, educators, and community partners to expand opportunities for students to gain valuable workplace experience and develop the skills needed for future career success.

"We are excited to welcome Alex to the Greenville Chamber team," said Carlos Phillips, president/CEO of the Greenville Chamber. "Alex’s leadership will help strengthen a program that is essential to our region's continued growth and long-term success."

Prior to joining the Chamber, Fagan served as the program coordinator for Curriculum at Furman University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). He was also a teacher at Greenville High School for more than a decade, where he was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year in 2022.
