The InnoVision Awards board of directors announced the finalists for the 2025 InnoVision Awards at a ceremony in Greenville on Aug. 25, 2025. Now in its 28th year, the InnoVision Awards, sponsored by the South Carolina Research Authority, recognize individuals, businesses, and organizations that are driving impactful innovations developed in South Carolina within the past 18 months.
This year’s finalists represent a diverse array of sectors and organizations and span the Upstate, Midlands, and Lowcountry areas of the state. Applications were reviewed by an impartial panel of out-of-state judges, and three finalists were selected in each of six competitive categories.
The 2025 finalists in the six competitive award categories are:
Community Service
Education
- Figment Learning Labs, which trains health care professionals using immersive, AI-powered simulations.
- STEM U, which is working to K-12 STEM education through scalable, immersive EPIC Learning.
- CardioEducator, a 3D-printed teaching tool that helps nursing students visualize congenital heart defects.
Small Business
- Blue Ridge Surgical Innovations, which developed the OrthoTract System to enhance safety in hand and wrist surgeries.
- Ripple Two LLC, which develops advanced, zero-signature and resilient systems for military and civilian use.
- SkilRedi, an AI-powered, immersive learning platform.
Sustainability
- Advent Innovations, an agricultural engineering company that combines advanced sensors, AI, and robotics to deliver real-time, data-driven solutions.
- Performance Enhanced Delivery, an agricultural company offering hemp-based solutions that combine plant nutrition and pest control.
- Sustain Cities Network , a platform that verifies and connects sustainable local small businesses.
Technology Integration
- PulManage, a digital health company focusing on respiratory care.
- Querri, an AI-powered data platform that uses a team of specialized agents to turn messy, siloed data into clean, analysis-ready insights.
- Shaw Circle, a hedge fund developing next-generation quantitative trading and quantum computing applications.
Technology Development
- CuffWay, a medical device startup focuses on airway safety.
- Drobot, which is developing AI-powered, on-demand collaborative mobile robots that navigate dynamic environments.
- OncoBLAZE, a biomedical startup developing precision targeted chemotherapy.
Winners will be announced at the 28th Annual InnoVision Awards Celebration on Nov. 13, 2025, at the Palmetto Club in Columbia.
