Earth Fare, which bills itself as ‘Your Healthy Supermarket,’ is closing its store at 3620 Pelham Road in Greenville, South Carolina.
No closing date has been announced, but a sign inside the store Oct. 18, 2025, said “Our lease is up” and “We will probably close at the end of the month.”
Another sign announced a ‘Liquidation Sale” and said, “Everything Must Go!”
It marks another closing of the Pelham Road location.
The Greenville News reported that the North Carolina-based natural and organic grocer closed stores, including Greenville's site on Pelham Road, in February 2020 after previous management filed for bankruptcy, a company statement from spokesperson Betsy Bevis said.
But Asheville businessman Dennis Hulsing made Earth Fare’s revitalization possible when he purchased the company out of bankruptcy in March 2020, Bevis said.
No plans for the current Earth Fare space have been announced.
