CurTec USA (CurTec), a high-performance packaging manufacturer, announced it is expanding its operations in Oconee County. The company’s $10 million investment will create 10 jobs.

Founded in 1991, CurTec produces plastic drums, pails and jars to safely handle and contain critical materials in the life sciences and fine chemicals industries.

With production operations in the U.S. and Netherlands and a commercial presence in Asia, Europe, and North America, the company has an international footprint including its Oconee County facility.

CurTec, located at 365 Oconee Business Parkway in Westminster, will expand its existing warehouse and production lines to increase its capacity to manufacture and store drums and pails for pharmaceutical markets. Operations are expected to be online in the summer of 2027.

“When we opened our Westminster facility in 2023, our goal was to bring production closer to our North American customers and build a platform for long-term growth," said CurTec CEO Bart van Berkel. "This expansion is the next step. By increasing local production, capacity and inventory, we can strengthen supply reliability, broaden the range we manufacture in the United States and continue growing our team and operations in South Carolina.”
