Countybank announced the promotion of Crystal Peterson to Treasury Services officer. Peterson has also been appointed vice president by the board of directors.
Peterson began her career with Countybank in 2006 and transitioned to the Treasury Services department in 2017 as Treasury Services administrator. She recently earned the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation, recognized globally as the standard of excellence in treasury management and expertise in cash and liquidity management, risk mitigation, corporate finance, and treasury operations.
In her expanded role, Peterson will serve business clients with innovative approaches to managing their capital, optimizing cash flow, and navigating complex financial environments. She will continue to partner with commercial relationship managers to deliver tailored treasury and cash management solutions to help businesses succeed.

Peterson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia’s College of Family and Consumer Sciences, and she completed executive development programs through the Treasury Management Foundations and Strategic Tracts at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Peterson lives in Greenville, South Carolina, with her husband and two children. She is active in the community, having served as board chair for Multiplying Good and on the steering committee for the Upstate Dragon Boat Festival, and she currently serves on the Board for the South Carolina Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
