Blue Dot Readi-Mix, a leading concrete and materials supplier serving the Charlotte Metro and Piedmont areas of North Carolina, and the Upstate of South Carolina, announced its acquisition of Sandlapper Concrete, LLC, marking the company's strategic expansion into the Greenville, South Carolina, market.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Said Scott Griffin, co-founder of Blue Dot Readi-Mix: "We have always respected the people at Sandlapper for their professionalism, integrity, and commitment to service. We have known the leadership team for nearly three decades, and their core values closely align with our own, making this a natural next step for our organization."
Founded in 2005 by childhood friends Griffin, Tony Griffin and Paul Cochrane in Mint Hill, North Carolina, Blue Dot Readi-Mix operates nine plants in North and South Carolina.
Both companies are part of the Trowel Craft Group, a growing network of 10 businesses serving the masonry and concrete construction industry across the Southeast U.S.
Trowel Craft Group companies include turnkey masonry, concrete production, dry mix packaging, rebar fabrication, concrete pumps, logistics, and retail stone and masonry suppliers, creating a comprehensive network of practical, quality solutions for top contractors and their projects in the region.
