The recent cybersecurity attack on AnMed Health facilities in Anderson is still being investigated, health system officials said, and physician offices are set to reopen on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
In a statement, AnMed Health officials said, "We continue to respond to the cybersecurity incident affecting our network. Our teams, working alongside third-party specialists, are making steady progress in
restoring systems safely. Protecting patients and providing safe care remain our highest priorities. Clinical teams continue to provide care using established downtime procedures, and decisions regarding procedures, transfers, diversions and operational processes continue to be guided by safety. "
Phones, internet, and computer systems remain offline, however, and patients are asked to bring all medications in their original containers to appointments and be prepared to confirm medical history.
