9Round Franchising, LLC, continues to expand internationally with the recent grand opening of its first studio in Guatemala. Guatemala is the 17th country outside of the United States where 9Round locations are now open and operating.

Guatemala’s inaugural 9Round studio is located in the country’s capital city of Guatemala City. This first facility is approximately 1,130 square feet, and unlike the standard franchise model in the U.S., the space is complete with changing rooms and showers for its members. According to 9Round’s master franchise agreement with Guatemala that was finalized in 2018, this location is the first of seven 9Round studios scheduled for development in Guatemala over the course of the next three years.

Prior to the grand opening, 9Round promoted its arrival in the country by offering new member discounts and allowing prospective members and local media influencers to tour the new space during open house events.

The next expansion milestone 9Round is set to reach is the brand’s first grand opening in Ecuador, which is projected to occur later this year.
