The Spinks Family Foundation has announced it awarded over $2 million to 100 local organizations in 2026. This total includes the foundation’s monthly donations, grant awards, annual Spinx store campaigns, and the annual Spinx Charity Classic Golf Tournament.

The Spinks Family Foundation was established to support the charitable giving of The Spinx Company, its founder, teammates, and customers. The foundation funds organizations that align with its mission in the areas of education, children, food security, substance abuse, and mental health.

During the event, the foundation announced its new Executive Director, Dane Boudreau. In this role, Boudreau will lead the Foundation’s strategic direction, philanthropic initiatives and community partnerships, advancing its commitment to making a meaningful difference in the communities it serves. Prior to joining the Spinks Family Foundation, Boudreau most recently served as assistant Kroc Director for The Salvation Army Kroc Center of Greenville.

Spinx hosts an annual golf tournament to benefit local charities. Beneficiaries are selected by the Spinks Family Foundation Board and serve a three-year term. The 2026 Spinx Charity Classic raised more than $125,000, which will be split evenly among this year’s beneficiaries: American Red Cross, Gateway House, Inc., Meals on Wheels, The Salvation Army, and United Ministries.

Spinx held monthlong, in-store fundraisers across its more than 90 retail locations to raise money for the American Cancer Society and March of Dimes by inviting customers to donate their spare change. This year, the company raised $210,629 for the American Cancer Society and $248,035.00 for March of Dimes.

“We are deeply committed to investing in the communities we call home and empowering the organizations that work tirelessly to serve those in need,” said Stewart Spinks, founder of Spinx. “This year’s grant recipients reflect a broad spectrum of causes that align with our mission of strengthening the fabric of our local communities. We are excited about the future and growing our community outreach with a fresh perspective by welcoming a new Executive Director.”
