On Sunday, April 28, celebrate with Loaves & Fishes at the return of this beloved annual event—the 28th Annual Taste of the Upstate. Attracting over 300 attendees a year, Taste of the Upstate gathers a dozen of the Upstate’s most talented Chefs for an event featuring spellbinding flavors, a glamourous silent auction, and the bewitching sounds of Greenville’s own award-winning Darby Wilcox. Competing for the coveted “Magical Makeover Award,” these culinary artists are challenged to use their magic to create an enchanted new version of a classic dish. Participating restaurants include Hendrix Chicken & Waffles, Salome’s Cuisine, Sun Belly Café, Anonymous Burger, Topsoil Kitchen & Market, Rise Bakery, The Herbal Farmercy, Clare’s Creamery, and Levy Catering.
