Endeavor hosts virtual Collaborators & Cocktails with global brand leaders Fabio Tambosi and Leslie Sims

Leslie Sims, former chief creative officer at Ogilvy and Young & Rubicam, and Fabio Tambosi, global head of brand communications, Apparel & Training at Adidas, will share best and worst responses from big brands during the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Endeavor, a coworking space in downtown Greenville’s LEED-certified ONE tower, is co-hosting a virtual Collaborators & Cocktails speaker series with Clemson’s Erwin Center for Brand Communications on Wednesday, May 20. Major brand marketing heavyweights Leslie Sims, former chief creative officer at both Ogilvy and Young & Rubicam, and Fabio Tambosi, global head of brand communications, Apparel & Training business unit at Adidas, will share their thoughts on the best and worst responses from big brands around the globe during the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Sims and Tambosi, both Clemson graduates, serve on the board of directors for Clemson’s Erwin Center to help students prepare for careers in brand communications. Together, the two will share examples and their points of view on what lessons attendees can learn and apply to their own marketing efforts from the triumphs and failures of major brands during the crisis.

Sims led creative development and execution for many of the country’s top brands, and has been named as one of the Top 10 chief creative officers in the US by Adweek, Most Creative Women in Advertising list by Business Insider, and one of Advertising Working Mothers of the Year. She led the creation of a digital preservation platform for the US National Parks for Nature Valley and was the creator of Staples’ Easy Button.

Tambosi steers the development of Adidas’ overall integrated brand communication plan across sport performance categories and was responsible for leading a successful digital transformation in the women’s category. Prior to Adidas, Tambosi was the director of global football brand marketing and digital services at Nike, where he drove marketing support for football training apparel and services. Tambosi is also an adjunct professor teaching Influencer Marketing.
