Cleveland Park Master Plan Open House
The City will host a drop-in style public meeting for the Cleveland Park Master Plan on Tuesday, March 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Kroc Center (424 Westfield Street). The public is invited to stop by any time during the open house to talk with the consultant team and provide feedback on the three alternate concepts for a Cleveland Park Master Plan. Feedback from this public meeting will help guide the consultant team in creating the final master plan.
The City hired MKSK, a Greenville-based landscape architecture, urban design, and planning firm, to develop the plan and address issues related to Greenville’s growth and its resulting pressure on the park. The master plan will provide a guide for future improvement and funding decisions with planning recommendations for improving traffic circulation within the park, ensuring adequate vehicular parking for visitors, managing stormwater, and identifying new opportunities for amenity improvements and recreation programming. Public input and participation are important elements of the project and both the City and MKSK are committed to engaging community stakeholders to ensure that the public’s concerns are addressed.
