The Brain Injury Association of South Carolina (BIASC) is hosting its annual Upstate Run & Roll 5K, previously known as Run For Thought, on Saturday, March 30 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Cleveland Park in downtown Greenville.

What started as an awareness tool and opportunity for brain injury survivors’ participation has grown to include participation from more than 400 brain injury survivors, caregivers, providers, and other community members. The event offers two options for race partakers: a competitive 5K and a 1-mile walk/roll.

Upstate Run & Roll 5K is the annual Upstate fundraising event for BIASC, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to provide critical help and support to persons with brain injury and their families, educating the public on the risks and impact of brain injury, advocating for legislation, and improving community-based services.
