The GSP Master Plan Workshop
Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District invites the community to learn about updates to the master plan for Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP).
A public workshop will be held Thursday, Nov. 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the GSP Conference Center that’s located in the airport’s terminal building. It is intended to be an interactive opportunity for citizens to learn about potential development at the airport while offering feedback.
The master plan includes an overview of existing facilities at GSP, forecasted aviation activity, facility requirements, environmental considerations, development alternatives, development phasing, estimated costs, and financial feasibility analyses. The document allows the airport to meet future aviation demand while complying with the FAA’s airport design and safety standards. Once the master plan is approved, it will become the airport’s official planning document with the FAA. The plan is a tool to guide the next 20 years of development at GSP to accommodate expected growth and passenger demands of the Upstate.
The Conference Center is located on the first floor of the terminal on the north end. Parking is available for $1/half hour in either of the two garages or the Daily Parking Lot.
