Global Fluency: Cross-Cultural Communication for Business
1/2 Day Training Workshop And Expert Panel Discussion
The World Affairs Council Upstate invites you to a half-day training session designed to develop strong and effective cross-cultural business skills with a focus on navigating the differences between China and Japan, as well as Germany and France. Knowing how to market in an appropriate context, negotiate and not alienate, forge trust, and communicate effectively are keys to business success.
Brad Gosche, vice president and lead certified trainer at the Global Fluency Institute, will lead the workshop. Through a combination of discussion, activities such as role play and design thinking exercises, attendees will further their understanding of different cultures and explore the value of various global perspectives.
Following the morning workshop, the afternoon panel discussion will shed light on the dos and don'ts of global business dealings as our expert panelists share their professional insight. You'll come away with a better understanding of why Global Fluency matters in the work place and how you and your employees can become more globally fluent.
Workshop registration is limited.
