Bridgeway Christian Academy's Feed the Need
On December 8, 2017, Bridgeway Christian Academy (BCA) will plan to pack 10,000 nutritious meals for hungry children in Greenville and in Haiti. The event will take place in their gymnasium on the school’s campus at 724 Garlington Road beginning at 8:30 am. This effort is a part of BCA’s ‘Feed the Need’ program that will also raise money for scholarships and curriculum enhancements for the Christian school.
BCA students, families, faculty and staff will participate in packing, sealing and boxing the meals that will be containerized, shipped and distributed to hungry children overseas. 9,000 of the meals will be going to Bethel Mission Outreach, a ministry partner of Bridgeway Church, which is directly affiliated with the school and across the street from BCA. The remaining 1,000 meals will be given to Harvest Hope Food Bank in Greenville. BCA wanted to partner with this wonderful organization that is dedicated to fighting hunger right here in our own community.
