We asked local attorney, economic development proponent and past Best & Brightest honoree Jo Hackl

How does encouraging young leaders create a more vibrant future for Greenville?

Last year, the Greenville Area Development Corporation worked with nearly two dozen relocating and existing companies to create over 2,000 jobs and attract new capital investment of over $250 million. Many of these companies are led by young, next-generation leaders. As our community continues to work to make Greenville an attractive place to live, work and invest, it is critical that we engage and encourage emerging leaders across the private, public and non-profit communities. These leaders can help us continue to build upon the collaborative, can-do spirit that has made our community so successful in the past and can bring fresh perspectives, diversity of opinion and innovation.
