As its name implies, BoomTown, a Charleston-based software development company, has created a community of over 700 top-producing real estate brokerages and teams that is rapidly expanding across the country. Offering a robust online marketing system for real estate professionals, BoomTown's growing client list of real estate agents has earned it a spot on the Inc. 500 list for the third consecutive year. Starting with three employees, BoomTown now reports last year's annual revenue at $8.1 million. That's 11.5 times higher than the first year the company placed on the Inc. 500. Its revenues continue to climb as its roster of real estate professionals who use the software system to "turn clicks into closings" increases. CEO Grier Allen says he looks forward to more growth in the years to come.
