Greer, SC – The Home Builders Association of Greenville has named Tom Dillard its 2011 Builder of the Year. Dillard is president of Dillard-Jones Builders, LLC, and Dillard-Jones Renovations.
Sponsored by BB&T bank, the HBA Builder of the Year award is the highest award given by the Greenville trade association. The award recognizes a builder member who makes a commitment of time and talent through committee and program participation that helps strengthen the association for all its members and represents the highest level of integrity and honesty in the home-building industry.
“Tom Dillard is a longtime, active member of the HBA of Greenville and has served in many leadership roles, including president in 2009,” said Robert Markel, 2012 HBA of Greenville President. “His company is an ongoing participant in numerous HBA programs and events, including the Southern Home & Garden Shows, and most recently led the renovations team for the HBA of Greenville Wounded Warrior Project.”
Dillard founded Dillard-Jones Builders, LLC, in 2004 and quickly established it as an award-winning company. A member of the
Southern Living Custom Builder Program representing the national magazine in Greenville, SC, and Asheville, NC, Dillard-Jones was named the
Southern Living Custom Builder of the Year in 2009 and 2011 – the first homebuilder to win the prestigious national award twice. Dillard-Jones also is a member of The Cliffs Signature Services program.
