Keller Williams Greenville Upstate associates chose to “Give Where They Live”as part of RED Day, Keller Williams' annual day of service on Thursday, May 11, dedicated to renewing, energizing and donating to local communities.

As part of the RED Day effort Keller Williams Greenville Upstate spent the day with the Salvation Army Rutherford Street Social Ministries Campus serving meals, building & beautifying a playground, organizing clothing donations, sorting items in the food warehouse and spending time with the residents. In addition to volunteerism, Keller Williams presented The Salvation Army of Greenville with a check for $1800 to purchase fans for those without air conditioning during the summer months.

“RED Day is built on the belief that people can and should come together to achieve extraordinary things to help others," said, Teresa Cox, Team Leader of Keller Williams Greenville Upstate “This year we assisted with serving meals, building and beautifying a playground near the Women’s & Children’s Shelter, organizing donations, and loving these members of our community.”

“RED Day just happens to be a one-day expression of the constant state of the Keller Williams culture. We see a need, discover who can meet it and get it done,”said Debra Bruton, Associate Leadership Council Member & Culture Committee Chair.

“We are very thankful for the nearly 100 Keller Williams Greenville Upstate associates who chose to spend the day with us last Thursday,”shares Major Pete Costas, Area Commander for The Salvation Army of Greenville, Pickens & Oconee Counties. “Through the generosity of Keller Williams, the residents of our Women's & Children’s Shelter will have a safe area to run and play. The services provided by Keller Williams will be remembered for years to come.”
