Education: Camilla Hertwig
With a long-standing history of bringing innovation to education, leading non-profits in strategic development and ensuring quality in healthcare, Camilla Hertwig is making enormous impact on Greenville. In 2011, Camilla’s professional role at Clemson’s Strom Thurmond Institute of Government and Public Affairs involved developing funding streams for grant activities through public/private partnerships while implementing projects providing innovative fusion between education and technology and promoting rural economic development. She also served as Vice-Chair of the United Way Public Policy committee as well as Chair of the Quality Committee of Bon Secours St. Francis Health System Board of Directors. In her natural advocacy role, Camilla made it her quest to make a difference at the patient level, meeting regularly with physicians and participating in hospital rounds.
