Business: Bruce White
The Bank of Travelers Rest, under the leadership of President Bruce White, now boasts over $500 million in assets and nine offices located in Upstate South Carolina. The bank was named the winner of the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) 2011 Business of Integrity award in recognition of its marketplace ethics, and Bruce White has been an integral part of ushering economic development into not only Travelers Rest but also throughout Greenville County. He serves on the board of the Greenville Area Development Corporation, as well as the senior advisory board of Clemson’s College of Business and Behavioral Science.
