Bosch Rexroth Corporation announced in mid- November plans to expand its existing hydraulics manufacturing operations in Greenville County. Under the leadership of Berend Bracht, regional president – Americas Bosch Rexroth Corporation, the $80 million investment is expected to generate 160 new jobs over the next five years. Bosch Rexroth, which makes industrial hydraulic piston units and pumps, will expand its manufacturing operations in Fountain Inn with the addition of a new building and land. The company purchased the former GlaxoSmithKline building near its current facility, creating a manufacturing campus that will become Bosch Rexroth’s primary facility for mobile hydraulics and the company’s largest manufacturing facility in the Americas. Hiring was set to start by the end of 2011 with help from ReadySC.
