Embassy Suites Downtown Greenville Riverplace has announced the leadership team that will guide its grand opening later this year. Glen Williams will continue his role as the regional director of operations for Hospitality America along with being named general manager of the Embassy and Beth Harris is director of sales and marketing. Both are well versed in the Greenville hospitality market, having been part of the team that successfully opened the Courtyard Greenville Downtown, another property of parent company Hospitality America.

“We are truly pleased to have both Glen and Beth join the Embassy leadership team,” said David Berger, vice president of operations for Hospitality America. “What makes them so special, is the genuine enthusiasm they have for Greenville. Glen and Beth have been valuable assets for Hospitality America over the last decade in Downtown Greenville. Most recently, they guided the Courtyard Greenville Downtown to tremendous success in overall service and profitability.”

A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Harris started her career with Hospitality America, Inc. eight years ago. In her most recent role, Harris was the director of sales and marketing for the Courtyard Greenville Downtown, where she was responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a revenue strategy that resulted in significant increases across all sales channels.

Outside of work, Harris is an accomplished community leader, currently serving as the Co-Chair for the Community Relations Committee for the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary. However, her proudest role remains raising her two boys, Hank and Ford, with her husband Jason Harris.
