Julie Kaminski’s work as a health and wellness coach is guided by one core mission: to help women thrive. As the creator of the SAVOR Method™ and a nationally board-certified coach with a background in counseling, she’s spent her career helping women reconnect with their health, their energy, and their purpose in ways that feel real and achievable.

Julie’s journey began with athletics. A lifelong athlete, she found herself at a crossroads when her synchronized swimming program was cut in college. That shift opened the door to a more expansive view of health—one that includes, but isn’t limited to, physical activity. After working in fitness training, she went on to earn her master’s degree in counseling and pursued board certification in health and wellness coaching.

Her approach centers around the SAVOR Method™, a five-part wellness framework that includes:

  1. Sustenance – understanding what you eat, when, and why;

  2. Activity – exploring how you move your body and what feels right for you;

  3. Vitality – accounting for individual medical and genetic factors;

  4. Organization – managing stress and the demands of everyday life;

  5. Refuelment – practicing positive psychology and rediscovering joy.

Julie emphasizes that these components overlap and influence one another. “Women often come to coaching with one goal, and we end up exploring things they hadn’t even considered were connected,” she explains. “It’s never one-size-fits-all.”

Her coaching style is rooted in listening deeply and supporting her clients as whole people—not just addressing symptoms, but uncovering underlying patterns and building sustainable habits. “When women feel like they’re thriving, the people around them feel it too,” she says. “There’s a ripple effect.”

This ripple effect is represented in her business’s new logo and brand, which she developed in collaboration with Melissa Barker, founder of Women Entrepreneurs Inc. and a respected leader in marketing and branding. Julie credits Melissa with helping her clarify and elevate her message.

“Melissa has been such an inspiration,” Julie notes. “Her belief in making women visible helped me become more confident in how I show up for my clients.”

Melissa Barker will be the emcee at the upcoming 2025 Women in Business event on July 16 in downtown Greenville, where women entrepreneurs from across the region will gather to celebrate leadership, growth, and community. While Julie won’t be attending, she’s deeply aligned with the event’s values and continues to support women through her own work.

In addition to her coaching practice, Julie is passionate about maternal health and community wellness. She has served on the board of a domestic violence shelter and often speaks about how socioeconomic factors impact women’s access to care. “Wellness is about more than just the body,” she says. “Your environment matters too. When you shift your surroundings, it can change everything.”

Julie’s personal goals for the next few years reflect the same values she brings to her clients: protect inner peace, do meaningful work, prioritize family, nurture creativity, and build authentic relationships.

She describes her mission in three words:
Helping Women Thrive.

It’s a mission that shows up not just in her coaching sessions—but in every part of how she lives, leads, and lifts others.
