Oct 04, 2023 01:14PM ● By Bob Helbig

In the competition for talent, South Carolina Top Workplaces celebrates the companies that are getting it right.

For the eighth year, Greenville Business Magazine, Columbia Business Monthly, and Charleston Business Magazine are honoring quality workplace culture in South Carolina. Any organization with 35 or more employees in the state is eligible to earn Top Workplaces recognition.

The nomination deadline is Nov. 3. Anyone can nominate any organization, whether it is public, private, nonprofit, a school, or even a government agency. To nominate an employer, just go to:

or call (864) 501-9699.

Recruiting and retaining talent is at the heart of the South Carolina Top Workplaces award. Workplaces are evaluated by employees using a short 24-question survey that takes about 5 minutes to complete. Companies will be surveyed from October to January.

There is no cost to participate, and winners will earn the coveted gold Top Workplaces badge to tout their achievement. The campaign results will be published in 2024.

Energage, the Pennsylvania-based research partner for the project, conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 65 markets nationwide and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations in the past year.

For 2023, 69 employers in South Carolina were featured as Top Workplaces. Surveys went out to 16,001 employees in the state, and 10,187 responded.
